Find out how to use Games-Career.com to list job offers, academic programs and job requests, and how you can make your company/school a Top Employer/Featured Schhool. Only Top Employer or Featured School status gives you access to exclusive features.
Your free registration is required to post job offers. Once you have signed up, you can log in and edit your profile and job offers on the "My Games Career" page.
Your first step should be to enter a billing address and a contact person for your company’s job offers in "My Account". Top Employers can create multiple contact profiles and assign different contact persons to individual job offers.
Clicking "Post job offer" opens a job offer form for you to conveniently provide all relevant information about the employment offered. Various options allow you to customize the format of your job listing. Should the job offer preview look different from the original text, this means that the copied text contains format elements of the source file (Word, PDF, etc.). You can avoid this by first copying the text from the source file into the Windows Editor (Notepad) and then into the text box.
After entering the text, click "Save job offer" at the bottom of the page. You can now either publish the job offer straight away, or create more job offers. Clicking "Publish this job offer" starts the payment process. You can enter additional job offers by clicking "Publish more job offers". Once you have entered all your job offers, you can publish and pay for multiple job offers at the same time in "My Job Offers". The job offers are checked by our editorial staff and promptly appear on Games-Career.com.
After publishing a job offer you can edit or correct the text in "My Job Offers". A subsequent change of the "Job title" is only possible for Top Employers; otherwise, the change is equivalent to posting a new job offer and will therefore be billed as such.
Your job offers will remain posted for a period of 8 weeks. To keep the job listings current at all times, job offers are automatically removed from our portal after the posting period has expired. If you would like to delete job offers ahead of schedule, go to the respective job offer in "My Job Offers" and click "Terminate job offer now". In this case, a later reposting – even within the original posting period – is only possible at a fee. Top Employers can republish job offers free of charge.
Should your offered position have not been filled by the end of the posting period, you can republish the job listing in "My Job Offers". Click "Publish again" for the respective job offer.
Payments for published job offers are handled by our billing service provider, Novalnet AG. We offer the following payment options: credit card, direct debit (for companies with billing address in Germany or Austria), sofortbanking (direct e-banking) and PayPal. The payable amount is charged using your preferred payment method. Job offers are then published pending review by our editorial staff. Invoices can be viewed and downloaded from "My Invoices" when the transaction is completed.

To publish your job request on our portal, all you need to do is to register free of charge. You can then log in and edit your profile and job request on the "My Games Career" page.

In addition to a photo, you can upload your CV and work samples with a maximum size of 4 MB per file. Once you have entered your job request, then click "Save job request" and afterwards "Publish Job Request". Your job request will be checked by our editorial staff and promptly appear on Games-Career.com
Job requests are posted for a period of 12 weeks. We would be happy to receive a brief message from you at our e-mail address if your job request was successful.
Academic institutions can create a School Basic Profile on Games-Career.com for free and present their degree programs and academic courses. The first step required is your Registration. You can then enter the details of your school and course offering in "My Games Career". Please include only programs/courses that are clearly games industry-related.
In addition to the free Basic Profile, you have the option of booking the premium "Featured School" package for a fee, which includes prominent placement and other exclusive offers.
First, you should specify a contact person in "My Account" (contact will not be published), along with a general description of your institution.
Once you have logged in, you will find the tab "My Academic Offers" in the main "My Games Career" menu. Here you can present the training courses/degree programs that your school offers. The text input window provides several format options. Should the job offer preview look different from the original text, this means that the copied text contains format elements of the source file (Word, PDF, etc.). You can avoid this by first copying the text from the source file into the Windows Editor (Notepad) and then pasting it into the text box.
After entering the text, click "Save offer". You can check the layout by clicking "Preview offer". The text describing your offered training/academic program will be cleared promptly by our editorial staff and posted on Games-Career.com. We reserve the right to withhold publication of such training/academic programs that do not qualify applicants for a career in the games industry, or are too broadly formulated (e.g. Business Administration).
After publishing a job offer you can edit or correct the text in "My Academic Offers". Click "Save Offer" to submit your changes.
Payments for selected premium services ("Featured School") are handled by our billing service provider, Novalnet AG. Payments can be made by credit card or direct debit (Germany and Austria). The payable amount is charged using your preferred payment method. Invoices can be viewed and downloaded from "My Invoices" when the transaction is completed.
For €95 (plus 19% VAT for companies with billing address in Germany) per job offer, you can publish open positions at your institution. They will be displayed online for a duration of eight weeks and can be edited at any time. For more information see the instructions for companies above – they’re practically identical for schools.
Make your school a "Featured School". "Featured Schools" are placed prominently in the "Education" section, appearing in the upper part of the page with their logo.
