Job description

Tasks to inspire:

  • Ability to lead a small group of Online Editors within the Content Team
  • Strong editorial and copywriting skills
  • Administration, analysis and improvement of social media channels
  • Responsibility for and management of the Editorial Calendar in Cooperation with other departments
  • Effective collaboration with the Marketing Division, Community Management and Product Management to develop strategies, campaigns and placements that drive growth in our internet channels
  • Increasing the quality of our content output and drive improvements
  • Monitoring of product-specific websites and all social media content and in general of our appearance and customer perception in the net 
  • Creative and strategical thinking with responsibility for target achievement
  • Planning, implementation and coordination of social media content projects
  • Continuous monitoring of market and social media trends
  • Contribution to editorial meetings and specific reporting 
  • Briefing of internal departments such as Art or Media Production


Qualifications to convince:

  • Degree as writer, editor, journalist or communication related field or relevant vocational training
  • At least 4 years of professional experience in online editorial and copywriting, preferably with focus on social media
  • English native speaker and excellent knowledge of written and spoken English
  • Affinity for games and comprehension of the gaming industry 
  • Experiences in the areas of content marketing or project management are an advantage
  • Great analytical skills and a structured and independent way of working
  • Good knowledge of common office software, especially Word and Excel
  • Reliable proactive person with good communication skills, confident appearance, team spirit and social competence
  • Resilience paired with the will to walk an extra mile if necessary
  • Knowledge of the German language is a plus
