Job description

The CRM team’s primary focus is to leverage the highly engaged database of Gameforge users across the globe to gain insight and to develop long term relationships and communications primarily through the email channel and web while exploring new channels. This is an exciting opportunity for a Junior CRM Manager to bring new ideas and drive engagement and revenue in an already successful CRM team.


Tasks to inspire:

  • Cooperation with stakeholders and internal interfaces such as Creative and Localization Department, Game Design, IT, BI, Data Analysis Department and ESP-Support
  • Support in the planning, optimization and testing of Email, Web and In-Game campaigns for the Gameforge portfolio, in compliance with legal requirements, brand guidelines and best practice
  • Execution and reporting of customer satisfaction surveys 
  • Briefing and managing internal departments and external agencies
  • Identification of customer target groups and implementation of retargeting campaigns (Facebook, Google, etc.)
  • Evaluation and analysis of campaign details including reporting 


Qualifications to convince:

  • Completed studies with a focus on Marketing, Business Administration or a comparable apprenticeship
  • First practical work experience in the areas of CRM, strategy, marketing, product management or strategic controlling
  • Experience in process management of complete email campaigns (planning, briefing, testing, delivery, reporting) in a fast-paced and multilingual environment 
  • Knowledge of Life-Cycle-Trigger-Automation and use of customer data for economic success 
  • Excellent analytical skills 
  • Experience in handling email platforms such as Episerver, Optivo, ExactTarget, Salesforce or Adobe Marketing Cloud, dotMailer, Silverpop
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Open, self-confident appearance and outstanding ability to work in a team
  • Excellent knowledge of English and German, written and spoken
  • Very good MS-Office knowledge 
  • Passion and/or understanding for the games industry is not essential, but would be an advantage
