Dortmund University of Applied Sciences and Arts

With around 15,000 students, Dortmund University of Applied Sciences and Arts is one of the ten largest universities of applied sciences in Germany. The course of study is geared towards providing an applicaiton-oriented education. Around 70 degree courses offer Bachelor's and Master's degrees in computer science, engineering, economics and social sciences as well as architecture and design.

Serious Games and Digital Knowledge (B.A.)

 

Serious Games and Digital Knowledge (Bachelor of Arts) is a highly innovative, interdisciplinary and bilingual (German / English) Bachelor's degree program. It is offered by the Departments of Design, Computer Science and Business Administration at Dortmund University of Applied Sciences and Arts.

 

The degree program covers a broad range of practice-oriented and professional skills and competences in the fields of serious games, gamification, digital knowledge and skills transfer. It provides students with necessary skills in the disciplines of

  • user experience design
  • user interface design
  • digital storytelling
  • media education & didactics
  • game studies 
  • computer science
  • as well as business and economics.

You can study this Bachelor's degree in German or English. You choose the language of instruction at the beginning of your studies.
