Tasks

• Localising English marketing content (including web and social media copy, videos and newsletters) into European Portuguese, in close collaboration with the senior Portuguese content marketing translator
• Acting as Nintendo Portugal's primary contact for queries relating to content localisation and implementation
• Being responsible for quality assurance of Portuguese marketing copy, ensuring content is consistent, market-appropriate and in line with the Nintendo voice
• Collaborating with product localisation department to ensure marketing copy accurately represents software; occasionally assisting with game localisation

Requirements

• Extensive translation experience, preferably within content marketing or the games industry
• Degree in translation, linguistics or related field
• Native European Portuguese speaker, mastery of English language
• Ability to multitask and to perform under pressure
• Strong communicator and team player, skilled in liaising between a broad range of stakeholders
• Knowledge of and passion for Nintendo IP as well as video games in general
• Experience using CAT tools (SDL Trados, MemoQ) would be a plus
• Experience with project management platforms such as Asana or Wrike are considered a plus
