What You’ll Do

• Own our QA: Improve existing processes, implement best practices and shape the future of our internal and external QA.  

• Test our Tech Stack: Dive into testing our RESTful API to convert native computer games into ROCKITPLAY FastStart images, ensuring functionality, security, and scalability for game performance.

• Enhance our ROCKITPLAY StreamInstaller: Validate the installer’s progressive download, ensuring smooth streaming of game content across network conditions.

• Enhance the Web App: Test our web app ROCKITPLAY Mission Control for usability, cross-browser compatibility, creating a seamless experience for managing game build conversions.

• Automate and Optimize: Build automated test scripts for functional, regression, and integration testing, integrating them into CI/CD pipelines.

• Collaborate and Innovate: Team up with developers, product managers, and DevOps to catch issues early, provide detailed bug reports, and elevate our QA processes, all while fueling your passion for gaming.

What You Bring

• Passion for Gaming: We want you to be a gamer at heart!

• Experience: 5+ years in QA engineering, with hands-on experience testing RESTful APIs, desktop applications, and React web apps. Demonstrated ability to deliver clear, actionable, and data-driven reports to leadership teams. Self driven with a proactive approach to driving results.

• Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in API testing tools (e.g., Postman, Apidog).

• Experience with automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium) and scripting in e.g., TypeScript or Python.

• Knowledge of React testing (Jest, React Testing Library) and cross-OS testing.

• Bonus: Understanding of the operation of gaming platforms (e.g. Epic Games Store, GoG Galaxy, Steam), basic understanding of computer game file I/O and gaming engines (e.g., Unity, Unreal) and hyperscalers (AWS, Azure, OCI); knowledge of CI/CD tools.

• Mindset: Analytical problem-solver with a sharp eye for detail, strong communication skills, and a commitment to delivering epic gaming experiences.

• Education: Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
