Hekate is a upcoming indie studio from Berlin with Double AA ambitions. We are currently working on our first title which will be released worldwide for all current consoles and PC.

We are currently looking for a new team member to join us full time as

PROGRAMMER (m/f/d)
(Junior - Mid-level)

Responsibilities:

• Creating new and optimizing existing features
• Contributing to the structure & code of the project
• Taking responsibility and ownership of all technical aspects regarding porting to next gen consoles PS5 / Xbox Series X
• Coordinating with external porting studios
  Managing deployment to PS5 / Xbox Series X
• Close collaboration with other departments
• Constantly improving and supervising the in-house pipeline
• Delivering timely and high-quality results
• Actively seeking out, incorporating and providing feedback to and from the team
• Highly motivated and contributing to a positive working environment

Minimum Requirements:

• European Citizenship
• Highly skilled in C++
• Deep understanding of the Blueprint System in UE4
• Experience with all major systems in UE4
• Proficient in the use of the UE4 Profiler
• Good knowledge about the UE4 build pipeline
• Fluid spoken and written communication skills in English

Preferred Skills and Experience:

• At least 1 – 3 years of experience in coding console or PC games
• Experience with Game Design
• Very structured & organized
• Excellent Time management, Creative Process and Production Process skills
• Bachelor level education in a related field (f.e. computer science)

Other optional Experience:

• Experience working on FPS or horror game
